This light is made of wood and has a free-floating liquid inside called "Ferrofluid" which is non-toxic and dances when it hears rhythms. This was a great addition to my office and desk as it is soothing and almost hypnotic in the way it moves within the glass. I am always looking for new items to decorate my office with whether they are work related or for pleasure. Listening to music via my computer speakers or my Bluetooth device is an everyday occurrence for my work flow. When I found this on ApolloBox's website, I couldn't believe my eyes about how cool and unique this was. It reacts directly to sound whether that be someone speaking or my background music vibing to the beats! It helps me recenter my energy when I am distracted from my tasks and focus back into the workflow. It is rechargeable and comes with the cord to charge it with via USB outlet with every charge lasting up to eight hours of use. To "reset" the Ferrofluid you simply use the included chess piece shaped magnet and move it against the glass until it is a complete sphere of fluid again. You can also use the magnet to move the fluid around manually for a fun mental break during your work day. This would be a great gift for any coworker for their work annniversary or birthday!
