I purchased this music box for my granddaughter. It took some time to arrive. It is a very cute design, and I know it will delight my granddaughter, but the construction is less stable than I had expected (especially the swing: it looks as if it could fall apart anytime) and the music box does not sound of high quality. I.e., a few notes out of key—not as musical as I have found in better quality music boxes. Finally, this is a whimsical, child-oriented design, but the music box plays a somewhat melancholy tune. Given the shipping time, it’s too late to ask for a replacement before the event, but I do wish I’d chosen another music box from another vendor.
