It came in a gorgeous box, with a smaller cardboard box, and a clear hard plastic sleeve. The outermost box is pretty enough to display and the clear plastic box is perfect to store the notepad in--especially in its final form. The paper is good quality and the product matches the listed details. The only negative to this is the long shipping time! If you're getting it as a gift for a specific date, make sure to order well in advance!

Bought this intricate looking notepad for my daughter-in-law's birthday. It is hard to find gifts for her, but when I saw this it seemed perfect. She is part Japanese and an artsy person. The note pad came in a beautifully wrapped fabric box with bow so no need for me to wrap it. She started using the notes right away and says she can't wait to see the whole temple emerge.
